Vision

Who we are

A data center storage innovation company.

We create firmware for SSDs that work in concert with and adds value to flash storage, with improved performance, latency (QoS), and endurance.

Burlywood is committed to transforming the SSD industry from a hardware-centric, one-size-fits-all market to software-defined flash solutions that optimize the needs of individual applications. Burlywood’s patented firmware features combine to provide the innovation needed to address the performance, latency (QoS), and endurance requirements of the most demanding applications.

Customers can realize the benefits of FlashOS in two different ways. The first is buying SSD drives directly from one of the manufacturers using our controller in their SSDs. The second is by Licensing FlashOS and using Burlywood’s SSD reference design to have one of our contract manufacturing partners build SSD to their specifications.
